Dine in the toilet @ T♥bowl, Sungei Wang

Toilet-concept restaurant is very popular in Taiwan and now we have one of them in Sungei Wang Plaza, KL. This is my 2nd visit here as I didn't get to try much during my first visit.

I wouldn't expect their food to be good as I assume that their selling point is solely on their unique toilet concept. But I was wrong! From the few dishes that we've ordered, most of them are pretty good!

I love their many varieties on the menu such as porridge, flaming pot, steamboat and etc.

Our dessert - Honey fruit sponge mellow.
Despite the weird name, I'll give a thumb up for this.
Vanilla ice cream is rich in flavour. Teddy biscuits have peanut butter filling which is a great pair with the ice-cream and fruits.

My Birthday at the Grand Imperial Restaurant, Bangsar Shopping Centre

Celebrated my *ahem* XX birthday at the Grand Imperial Restaurant, Bangsar Shopping Centre with my family and friends.
It's also for food tasting purpose as we are going to held our wedding here.

IMG_9070
Scallop, crabmeat, spinach with egg white, etc etc

It's nice and I would say a very good replacement for sharkfins soup on weddings.
Though the taste is good, we found that the greeny bits are a bit disturbing and hence, requested for change on this ingredient on our wedding day.

4 seasons - nice!

Assorted meat rice - Thumb up!

Sushi King

As a foodie who loves Japanese food, I have to say that Sushi King isn't that bad and they have made tremendous improvement over the last couple of months. In my opinion, the worst Japanese joint would be Sakae sushi as compared to Sushi Tei, Sushi Zanmai, and Sushi King.

Here's some of my favourite dishes at Sushi King:

Salmon sashimi @ RM11.90, Sushi King
Their salmon is really thick and fresh.

Salmon Toro Kushi @ RM7.90, Sushi King
The grilled salmon is juicy and has really smooth texture.
It has some fat on them which makes it more yummy!

 #3 Favourite:
 Tamago Sushi

 #4 Favourite:
Clam soup

#5 Favourite:
Fresh scallop sushi

#6 Favourite:
Unagi Set @ RM19.90, Sushi King

 Others:
 Scallops

Assorted Sashimi @ RM19.90, Sushi King

Best suckling pig in town! - El Cerdo @ Changkat Bukit Bintang

El Cerdo
Paella con Mariscos "a la Carol" @ RM95
King Tiger Prawn, Scallops and Lobster Butter

Aside from the piglet, this is my favourite dish and I just can't resist from ordering this everytime, which this is my 3rd time here.
The seafood is favourful and very moist and the rice is wet and soft.
Not a lot of people fancy this dish as much as I do though, from my experience with families and friends.

El Cerdo
The fat and juicy scallop, mad love ♥!

El Cerdo
This is my portion of Paella :)

El Cerdo's Signature:

El Cerdo
"COCHINILLO AL ESTILO SEGOVIANO"

In English, it's called Roasted Suckling Pig
Half Piglet - RM118 for two person
Whole Piglet - RM219 for four person

El Cerdo
This is how you cut El Cerdo's piglet.
It's possible this way because their piglets are tender and crispy enough.

El Cerdo
The juiciest and most delicious suckling pig in the world.
Its' texture is very similar to chicken drumstick.

El Cerdo
Brought our moms here for the 1st time.
Our meal comes with complimentary soup, salad, some nugget-like stuff and cocktail or mocktail, I don't know that it is :P

El Cerdo
The manager explaining about how to chop the piglet and how to smash the plate into the wooden tube for good luck in the Spanish way.
