The drive to Teluk Intan is about 2.5-3 hours from Kuala Lumpur.
Our first stop is at the Jalan Maharani's hawker stalls.
Lots of stall here @ Jalan Maharani
Family :)
Nasi kunyit with char siew. Nice but the char siew is a too fatty.
a typical Teluk Intan's chili sauce. It's more watery that the ones in KL

Soy milk stall @ Jalan Maharani
This is supposed to be famous but I found it pretty average.
Local fruits @ Jalan Maharani
Local fruits are really cheap here. It's about half of the price that we pay in KL.

Black cat for sale?
Coffee @ a random coffee shop
My mom says Teluk Intan's coffee is the best. It's thick and has a strong aroma, but it's too sweet for my taste. From my experience, most of the small town's drinks are usually too sweet. This coffeeshop sells pastries too.
The famous Rojak Ah Chai
All the newspaper cuttings of this little Rojak stall.
Rojak Ah Chai
The prawn crackers was super crunchy and there are a lot of fruits in this rojak.
I would prefer the Penang's rojak over this cause I prefer the sauce with lots of prawn paste.
We spent a whole day at Teluk Intan and it's really nothing much to do here so went to Rapid Mall which is the largest mall in Teluk Intan. At Rapid Mall, we shopped at Giant, had foot massage, chill at Sushi King, then Mcdonalds.
Us having coffee and sundae at Mcdonalds @ Rapid Mall
The famous Liew Kee's chee cheong fun - opens from evening onwards.
We ended our trip with dinner at SP River View Seafood Restaurant.
