Restoran Dim Sum Yum Cha, Kuchai Avenue

Last weekend, we have decided to give this new restaurant in Kuchai Avenue a try. Most of the shop at Kuchai Avenue is still vacant but this restaurant is bustling with people.

There wasn't too many parking infront of the shop and so we had to park at the basement @ RM3 per entry.

Their menu, very reasonably priced.

Here's the dim sum:

Their chu cheung fun is overloaded with char siew wrapped in really thin noodle.

You'll either love it or hate it.

Fried Yam Taro

Their fried yam taro is so gooood as the taro is really smooth and soft.

Loves their salad prawn too, it is bigger than the average salad prawn and is really crunchy.

Custard Bun

Look at their melted custard filling - heavenly!

Here's our bill, it's RM48.84 for the four of us. With the quality of the food and their restaurant decor, I would say that their price is a steal!

Overall, their dim sum is quite good and I would definately come back again.

The only drawback is their dim sums are served upon order and it takes them a while to serve it.

The Cell

Has anyone seen the movie called "The Cell"?

I've just watched it yesterday on HBO and thought it was really cool  (but slightly sickening.)
It was starred by Jennifer Lopez as a child psychologist who entered the mind of a serial killer with a virtual reality device to find out the location of his latest victim.

My wedding is finally over and I am glad that everything (almost) had went well.

Since I love anything that is cute, I was really hoping to have loads of custom-made cutesie cup cakes. As I was compiling cup cakes quotation, I was really aghast on how expensive this silly cup cakes can be.

Still I am very amazed how creative they can be.

Besides Bunsintheoven, I also checked with the more popular Cupcake Chic.

I have asked for the quotation of 100pcs, rental of a tier stand and favor boxes.

Well, that's all for now. All the info just for cupcakes. At the end, I have decided to scrap the idea cuz I think it's not worth it. All the money just to "syok sendiri" because guests in general won't appreciate this, I think. Imagine if half of your guests left your cupcakes/favor on the table

Though the cup cakes are not cheap, I think it would still be really sweet to send a box of customised cup cakes to your friends on their wedding or special occassions. :)
